Other popular local attractions are the spectacular Castleton Caverns and Peveril Castle.  Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the plague village of Eyam and the market towns of Buxton and Bakewell are all within easy travelling distance. The location has good road and rail links, making possible easy day trips to the major cities of Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and York.

Cornmill Cottages comprise two beautifully appointed apartments set in secluded grounds close to the River Noe.  The accommodation has been fitted out to the very highest standards and whilst there are fully fitted kitchens in which to prepare your own food, the local Peak District villages offer many traditional inns and restaurants, some of which are within easy walking distance of the cottages.
